Monte Carvoeiro
Carvoeiro was a quaint little fishing village once, but as a popular
tourist destination and place for ex-pats to settle, today it is a busy
commercial town. Its charms are still in tact however; the small
sandy cove beach with a smattering of fishing and tour boats, towering
cliffs, and abundant vegetation, this is still a pleasant and typically
Algarvian place to be.
This view looking north up
the hill shows the old and new style buildings nestled together
colourfully..
